Andra picked up skateboarding in her early 40s, after learning to paddleboard and surf, she was ready to add another board sport her list of hobbies. At her local skate park she is known as “Skate Mom”. While she was showing up to skate, she was also spending time with the kids encouraging them to throw their trash away and keep the park clean as well as asking how their grades were. Andra has served as a board member with SwitchLife and has volunteered at clinics.
Outside of skating, Andra is a digital marketing freelancer, building websites and developing online marketing strategies for small businesses and also hosts a WordPress Meetup group. She serves as the Chair of the Watauga Parks Advisory Board. During the summer she leads sunset paddle tours and full moon meditation paddles at the lake.
Sarah is the owner of a private energy medicine practice, where she focuses on healing trauma in children and families. She developed the Indigo Aztec Method, an energy medicine technique specifically designed for children. This led her to publish a children’s workbook, “Heal Your Feelings“, giving children tools to empower themselves to heal their own emotional blocks and upsets.
She is also a speaker and teacher, using her life experiences to motivate and inspire others to live fully and completely. At home, Sarah enjoys mothering her four children, spending time in the kitchen, and collecting yarn. She is passionate about travel and a vocal advocate for global children’s rights.Her family has provided care for both domestic and international refugee foster children of a variety of ages since 2010.
